Back to School

The Working Girl Outfit

Are you the kind of person who goes to work or school scheduling what you want to do over the weekend? I know I am! Everyday is the same old thing. You wake up, get ready, and start, yet another, long day of work. After going to the same place everyday for hours, you may start to slack off with what you wear. The key to fashion is comfort! You want to be comfortable in what you wear, but still feel like you are put together.

A staple piece to always have in your closet are DRESSES! Dresses are an easy and simple outfit that you can slip on in the morning when you are rushing to work. A black dress is a must have. you can always take a simple black dress and keep it classy, or add a pop of color with accessories or shoes.

Classic black pointed toe pumps are making their way back to every closet. They are classy, sophisticated and complete every work outfit. Not only adding a little height but also making the look sleek and pulled together.

DIY Bow

Its summer time! Which means hanging out with friends, shopping and going to the beach. Bows are one of my must haves during the summer. If you are either having a bad hair day or just want your hair out of your face, bows are the way to go.

To make your own bow you are going to need:

-Fabric

-Scissors

-Hot glue gun

-Hair clips

First you want to choice your fabric and lay it inside out. Fold the end over twice and cut off excess material. Then cut off some of the length.

I wanted my bow to be longer so I made it the length of a ruler.

Fold the ends so that the two opposite ends are touching. take your hot glue gun and glue the ends together.

Once the glue dries, pinch the middle of the fabric to get the bow shape. Once you get your desired bow shape, glue the creases that you made by pinching it to insure the bow keeps its shape. Make sure you glue the creases on the front and the back.

Now take a scrap piece of fabric. Fold it a few times and cut off the excess. If the scrap piece of fabric is to long, cut off any unnecessary fabric. wrap the scrap piece of fabric around the middle of the bow. and glue the ends of the fabric. make sure when you glue it, you glue it together on the back.

then take your hair clip. apply a little bit of glue on the back of you bow, and apply the clip. hold the clip in place until the glue dries. also to insure the bow stays in shape, glue the ends of the clip to the bow as well.

THEN.. YOUR DONE!
